Artist from Buenos Aires.
Every powerful story needs someone who can translate it into images. We were looking for an artist who could capture emotion, movement and tension — and we found him in Argentina.
Ezequiel Di Savino is an illustrator with a distinctive style. He combines the dynamics of comics with the emotion of cinematic storytelling. His style is energetic, yet sensitive.
And perhaps it's no coincidence that he comes from Argentina. That's where Jiří once won an important match and found his wife. Now, from the same region, comes the artist who draws his story.
A meeting that wasn't planned.
Some projects are born from a plan. This one was born thanks to people who might otherwise never have met.
Gamechangers — A community connecting sports and business.
Gamechangers is a networking platform that connects athletes, entrepreneurs and innovators. It organises regular events where people with similar values — but from completely different worlds — meet.
Among the guests were Olympians such as David Klammert (judo) and Nikoleta Jíchová (athletics), as well as entrepreneurs like Lubo Smid (STRV) and Vít Staněk (Botas). And it was through this community that the connection between Jiří Beran and the founder of Whaleden was made.
Thanks to the founder of Gamechangers, David Černý, the founders of Whaleden met Jiří Beran. It was at the end of 2025, directly in the fencing hall where Jiří trains and where a g:ch event was held.
We then met at the launch of Jiří's book — and it was clear there that this would be more than just a chance meeting.
